Two of my patrons requested a guide on adding a second USB Endoscope camera to Octoprint. This allows you to have a regular webcam to watch the whole printer, and a second macro view of the nozzle to monitor how the extrusion is coming out. The end result is pretty handy.
I have followed two other guides to create this simplified version. Outside The Box: Multiple Webcam Setup with OctoPrint: https://www.makersmashup.com/post/outside-the-box-multiple-webcam-setup-with-octoprint
OctoPrint Multi-cam Plugin – Chris’s Basement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzpBgEG_ksw
This is a much more comprehensive video with a lot more customisation.
